A la búsqueda se sumó personal de Carabineros y Bomberos , quienes por mas de 2 horas apoyaron el trabajo que con linternas y mediante gritos buscaban al menor, hasta que el vecino Ángel Peña logró encontrar al menor oculto tras una vivienda en el sector, indicando que el menor al ver la llegada de su madre la abrazó y lloró produciéndose un emotivo momento, el menor se encontraba en buenas condiciones y los vecinos de las Coimas una vez mas demostraron porqué son unos de los sectores mas unidos de la comuna y con un tremendo corazón solidario.
