En tanto el primer Comandante de Bomberos de Putaendo Luis Sepulveda Hidalgo indicó que al llegar el personal en la unidad, se encontró con fuego en parte delantera de la máquina donde los vecinos realizaron la primera intervención logrando con extintores evitar que el fuego se descontrolara , agregando que los daños se concentraron en el motor, y la parte delantera de la máquina, donde dijo que no puede referirse a la causa probable del incendio pues el resultado del peritaje del departamento técnico es enviado directamente a la fiscalía.
