El edil y proclamado como precandidato a la alcaldía de Putaendo, sostuvo que no asistió el acto de lanzamiento de campaña por el plebiscito y el acuerdo de primarias suscrito el viernes pasado por tres partidos de centro izquierda luego que dirigentes provinciales del PPD se lo sugirieron en base al desconocimiento de su parte de los acuerdos alcanzados con los otros partidos políticos, pero que siempre ha estado disponible para primarias.

El pasado viernes, tres partidos de centro izquierda (Democracia Cristiana, Partido Socialista y Partido Comunista) suscribieron un inédito acuerdo comunal para trabajar en unidad por la opción “apruebo” en el plebiscito constituyente de abril y la realización de primarias legales para que los putaendinos eligan al susesor de Guillermo Reyes en la alcaldía de Putaendo.
A pesar de que el Partido por la Democracia (PPD) formó parte de esta mesa desde su conformación, finalmente la noche del viernes en el ex Teatro Cervantes la colectividad fue la gran ausente. Al acto no asistió el concejal y precandidato a alcalde Sergio Zamora ni tampoco el también concejal y presidente comunal del partido, Octavio Casas, quien además participó desde un comienzo en la mesa de partidos de oposición.
La ausencia de ambos se interpretó como una señal de que el PPD no respaldaría el acuerdo de primarias y optaría por imponer a Zamora como candidato único del sector a través de negociaciones provinciales o nacionales, lejos de las directrices que los demás partidos acordaron en Putaendo, con el respaldo de sus directivas regionales.
Desde la noche del viernes, ambos representantes del PPD literalmente estuvieron “inubicables” y nadie sabía del porqué los concejales Zamora y Casas literalmente se restaron sin dar una explicación. De hecho, Putaendo Informa intentó en varias oportunidades durante el fin de semana y hasta la mañana de hoy (lunes) contactarse con Octavio Casas, sin embargo no contestó nuestras llamadas.
¿Porqué se ausentó de la firma del acuerdo el Viernes pasado Concejal cuando habían comprometido su participación y asistencia?
“La verdad es que nunca recibí toda la información del presidente de mi partido, sin querer polemizar solo el concejal Octavio Casas me informo como un 20% de todas las conversaciones y por eso decidí consultar a un dirigente de mi partido a nivel provincial y me sugirieron no apurarme con lo de las primarias y ver primero lo del plebiscito, por eso no fui a la firma del acuerdo” explicó Zamora.
¿Pero dentro de las reuniones y acuerdos estaba lo de trabajar primero por el apruebo y a la asamblea constituyente?
“Reitero creo que fue una mala comunicación un error y por eso quiero ofrecerle disculpas a los compañeros de los otros partidos que organizaron el acuerdo, pues debí haber asistido y por eso pido me disculpen, jamás me resataria de un acuerdo como este. Creo que nadie sobra en Putaendo y yo siempre he dicho que estoy dispuesto para ir a primarias”
¿Ratifica entonces su disposición a participar de las primarias en Putaendo?
“Absolutamente y si me piden que firme el acuerdo del dia viernes que me digan donde y lo firmo de inmediato, reitero yo soy precandidato de mi partido pero las primarias son la voz del pueblo y yo siempre dije que quería primarias”.
Lo concreto es que aparentemente el PPD habría reculado de su intención inicial de no firmar el acuerdo y estarían avalando el acuerdo comunal por la inscripción de primarias legales en Putaendo.
