Durante la madrugada personal del municipio de Putaendo, procedió a cerrar la plaza de la comuna, instalando huinchas de seguridad con la leyenda peligro a fin de evitar que transeúntes ingresaran al interior de la plaza en el marco de las medidas para evitar aglomeraciones de personas por la pandemia del Covid-19.
El Alcalde (S) Fabián Muñoz, en entrevista con Putaendo Informa señaló que la medida se debió adoptar a propósito que las personas no han hecho caso de la grave situación que hoy estamos viviendo y lamentablemente se seguían reuniendo en la plaza de la comuna lo que es un hecho grave pues pone en riesgo la salud del resto de la comunidad.
“No tuvimos más alternativa, sabemos que viene gente a hacer trámites al centro pero muchos se quedan en la plaza se sientan a conversar y no toman conciencia que esta situación es grave es de vida o muerte y gracias a Dios tenemos un solo caso en la comuna que se está recuperando, pero debemos adoptar todas las medidas que sean necesarias para evitar reuniones y aglomeraciones de personas y por eso la plaza permanecerá cerrada durante al menos dos semanas ya que se prevée el peak del virus para los próximos días” Indicó el Alcalde (S) Fabian Muñoz.
La autoridad agregó que el próximo Lunes o quizás antes se mejorará el cierre perimetral de seguridad en la plaza de la comuna, pues hay que garantizar el tránsito peatonal por el entorno para lo cual lo más probable que se deje una parte del anillo exterior de la plaza sólo como tránsito peatonal y sin bancas lo que se implementará en los próximos días, pero el cierre de la plaza se mantendrá de manera indefinida.
