Los efectivos del retén fronterizo del sector los Patos, realizaron varias diligencias investigativas para en conjunto con personal especializado del OS-7 decomisar las plantas de cannabis sativa.

En un trabajo en conjunto entre personal fronterizo del retén los ´Patos, al mando del Suboficial Mayor Jaime Gonzáles Miño y personal especializado del OS-7 de la misma institución, se logró decomisar 911 plantas de marihuana en etapa de crecimiento en el sector del Manzano en la comuna de Putaendo.
Desde hace varios días el personal de Carabineros realizó trabajos en el sector del Manzano los que dieron resultados durante la madrugada de este Miércoles cuando en el sector del kilómetro 45 de la ruta que une Putaendo con Cabildo hacia el interior se encontró un campamento que contaba con dos piscinas acumuladores de agua, mangueras para el riego tecnificado y 911 plantas de cannabis sativa en proceso de crecimiento, no encontrando a quienes se dedicaban al cuidado y cultivo de la plantación ilegal aunque las diligencias continúan para dar con los responsables de quienes mantenían dicha plantación oculta en el sector el Manzano.
Personal policial fuertemente armado según indicaron testigos que se percataron del operativo se internaron desde las primeras horas de la madrugada de este Miércoles para después de varias horas de recorrido encontrar el campamento donde se ,mantenía la plantación donde todo indicaría que el o los sujetos que cuidaban el campamento habían alcanzado a huir del sector sin poder ser detenidos por personal de Carabineros.
Las plantas fueron arrancadas y trasladada hasta el servicio de salud Aconcagua para su incineración según lo determinó el fiscal de turno y el campamento con los enseres encontrados destruido por personal de Carabineros.
