Carabineros sí confirmó que uno de los vehículos involucrados habría realizado un adelantamiento indebido en la zona de curva en dirección sur norte, es decir desde Putaendo hacia San Felipe y que según testimonio de ese conductor, fortuitamente sufrió el reventón de un neumático delantero que lo llevó a perder el control del mismo vehículo colisionando frontalmente al vehículo de color rojo que lo hacia en sentido contario.
Afortunadamente este accidente de tránsito no dejo victimas fatales, pues el daños en los vehículos deja en evidencia que se trató de un impacto de alta energía, donde será el tribunal el que deberá determinar fehacientemente los hechos y las respectivas responsabilidades.
Al lugar del accidente también fue despachada la unida de rescate de Bomberos de Putaendo quienes no ocuparon herramientas para la liberación de los pacientes involucrados pues todos lograron salir por sus propios medios y con la ayuda de otros automovilistas desde los vehículos involucrados.
