El término de la construcción de un pozo comunitario en Los Patos para abastecer a cuatro sistemas de Agua Potable Rural en la comuna y el compromiso de ayudar con urgencia al APR de Guzmanes, fueron parte de las noticias que las autoridades dieron a conocer este jueves tras reunirse en el salón municipal.
Como un “avance significativo” tildó el alcalde(s) Fabián Muñoz las iniciativas anunciadas hoy por el Director Nacional de Obras Hidráulicas (DOH), Claudio Darrigrandi, para fortalecer el funcionamiento de cinco sistemas de Agua Potable Rural (APR) de Putaendo.
La autoridad comunal se mostró optimista con las noticias en el actual contexto de sequía que vive la zona central y la crisis sanitaria que sacude al país.
“Es una muy buena noticia para Putaendo, para las comunidades de Piguchén, Los Patos, Población Hidalgo y Casablanca que, en el corto plazo, van a disponer de una nueva fuente de captación de agua para sus sistemas. Sin duda que es muy relevante porque permite el desarrollo de las localidades. También hubo una importante noticia para Guzmanes, esperamos que se les pueda habilitar un pozo para ese importante comité. Son muy buenos anuncios”.

En el encuentro realizado en el Salón Municipal participaron el alcalde(s); el director de obras municipales, Jorge Reyes; el encargado de la oficina municipal de sequía, Mauricio Quiroz; personeros de la DOH; dirigentes de APR como Marco Landeros, de Los Patos; Sara Gómez, de Guzmanes y Claudio Tapia, de Piguchén; y el diputado Luis Pardo.
Ellos escucharon al Director Nacional de Obras Hidráulicas. Claudio Darrigrandi, resumiendo las siguientes iniciativas:
1. El término de las obras de construcción de un pozo comunitario ubicado en Los Patos que supera los 180 metros de profundidad que beneficiará a cuatro sistemas de APR de la zona norte de Putaendo. El proyecto tuvo una inversión aproximada de 215 millones de pesos.
2. Están disponibles los recursos para la habilitación y funcionamiento de dicho pozo por 250 millones de pesos. El proceso de licitación estará a cargo de la Municipalidad de Putaendo.
3. El Compromiso de la Dirección de Obras Hidráulicas para resolver con urgencia el requerimiento del sistema de Agua Potable Rural de Guzmanes.
“Se han obtenido recursos desde la Subdere para establecer un financiamiento, con apoyo técnico de DOH, luego se va a licitar, para que en un plazo de aproximadamente un trimestre o 45 días, poder generar una obra que va a permitir que el pozo que hemos construido abastezca a estos sistemas”, explicó Darrigrandi.

Por su parte, los dirigentes de los APR involucrados esperan rapidez en las gestiones respectivas para asegurar la entrega de agua en sus sectores.
“Estamos felices con la noticia. Personalmente, estoy muy emocionado, pensando que vamos a tener una solución definitiva, porque nos va a dar mucha independencia respecto de la Junta de Vigilancia, sobre todo para los APR donde teníamos captación de forma superficial”, comentó Marcos Linderos, dirigente del APR Los Patos.
“Nosotros estamos muy contentos con este tema, primero por la sequía que nos afecta y para nosotros que nos abastecemos del canal unificado y nos ha bajado considerablemente el caudal. Ya hemos tenido problemas, estamos trabajando al límite. Esperamos que todas estas noticias se realicen pronto. Lo ideal es que esto sea a la brevedad, porque para nosotros como Comités de captación superficial se estaba volviendo muy crítico”, emplazó Sara Gómez, presidenta del APR de Guzmanes.
