Un ex funcionario del Hospital Psiquiátrico Doctor Phillips Pinel de Putaendo el cual solicitó reserva de su identidad, denunció a Putaendoinforma una grave situación ocurrida al interior de una de las unidades forenses de dicho centro de salud mental que terminó con un paciente con un traumatismo encéfalo craneal (TEC] y otras lesiones, luego que fuera arrojado desde su cama por un funcionario encargado de su seguridad el cual habría ocultado el hecho a sus superiores y habría limpiado las manchas de sangre y botado las sabanas ensangrentadas a la basura.

El funcionario involucrado luego de ver el estado en el cual quedó el paciente lejos de dar aviso a sus propios compañeros de turno y a sus superiores, limpió el piso ordenó la cama y arrojó a la basura las sabanas con sangre y acomodó al paciente de nuevo en su cama y solo el hecho fue descubierto por otro funcionario que en horas de la mañana en otro turno el cual se percató que el paciente presentaba un golpe en su cabeza y cara y aún mantenía restos de sangre por lo que le consultó al mismo paciente que le había pasado a lo cual el paciente le indicó que se habría caído de su cama en la noche.

Los antecedentes del ex funcionario entregados a Putaendoinforma, dan cuanta que se habría iniciado un proceso de sumario el cual habría arrojado la destitución del funcionario del Hospital Psiquiátrico lo que estaría siendo resistido por un gremio de trabajadoresde de San Felipe el que acusa un proceso viciado y no justo para el funcionario o extraoficialmente ex funcionario que habría manifestado en su defensa que fue una broma que terminó mal pero que acostumbraba a bromearse con los pacientes a su cuidado, mientras que no hay certeza si la dirección del Hospital paralelamente puso o no en conocimiento de la fiscalía dichos antecedentes , razón por la cual como medio estamos a la espera de antecedentes oficiales parte de la dirección de dicho recinto que podría pronunciarse en los próximo días de manera oficial sobre este grave hecho.
