Ellas fueron protagonistas en una actividad organizada en conjunto por el Programa Mujeres Jefas de Hogar, la Municipalidad de Putaendo y el Programa Comunal de Promoción de la Salud del Cesfam Valle de Los Libertadores .
La ceremonia estuvo enfocada en los testimonios de mujeres respecto a la histórica lucha por reivindicar sus derechos y en la perseverancia de ellas de salir y superar episodios de violencia.
De esta manera, destacó el “Taller de Arpillera” que realizó el Programa Mujeres Jefas de Hogar con la gestión del Programa Comunal de Promoción de Salud de Putaendo.
En la instancia participó también el alcalde Mauricio Quiroz, la concejala Mariana Bravo, el edil Carlos Gallardo y la administradora municipal Mirna Humeres.
Asimismo, destacó la participación del Centro de la Mujer de San Felipe.
En lo artístico, los aplausos recayeron en el Grupo Folclórico Raíces de Mi Tierra y la Agrupación Tumberas Akunkawa.
