Las asociaciones gremiales del Hospital Psiquiátrico Dr. Philippe Pinel que componen la multigremial del Establecimiento confirmaron que se han recibido varias acusaciones contra un psiquiatra y perito que se desempeña en una de las unidades forenses del Hospital, a quienes le atribuyen episodios de maltrato y agresiones verbales, además de episodios de hostigamiento laboral contra el equipo de la misma unidad.

También aseveró que dichos tratos los tiene tanto con hombres como con mujeres.
El denunciante afirmó que la tensión que se vive dentro de la unidad afectada va en aumento y que los trabadores viven expuestos al estrés que implica recibir los tratos del médico. Incluso existe le temor de que alguno de ellos colapse y pueda responder en forma agresiva.
Consultado al respecto, el Director del Hospital Psiquiátrico, Dr. Oscar Cruz, indico que fue informado de la situación y que junto a los equipos y las asociaciones gremiales están trabajando en la situación, por lo que en primera instancia no se referirá públicamente por los hechos expuestos.
El directivo precisó que en su gestión siempre será considerada la opinión de los trabajadores y la preocupación porque las condiciones de trabajo sean óptimas, a fin de evitar conflictos dentro de las unidades del Hospital.
