Hace un tiempo se creo junto a amigas y amigos defensores de los animales la primera mesa de trabajo Animalista de Putaendo, para conocer las necesidades de la comunidad en esta temática tan sensible.
Después de un levantamiento de Información y de conocer las prioridades que los vecinos esperan para sus mascotas, se creo una propuesta para contar con un Programa de tenencia responsable de mascotas en la l Municipalidad de Putaendo.
La propuesta fue presentada al Alcalde Mauricio Quiroz y el programa integral la cual denominaron “Putaendo Protege a sus Mascotas “ la cuenta con seis aristas.
1.- Atención Veterinaria Municipal gratuita ( incluyendo esterilizaciones y más atenciones )
2.- Operativos en Terreno
3.-Fizcalizacion, mediación y asesorías de denuncias de Maltrato.
4.- educación en la comunidad.
5.- Postulación de proyectos.
6.- Apoyo Social.
Mariana Bravo dijo que la iniciativa busca concretar un compromiso de este programa para trabajar de manera integral por las mascotas de la comuna y luchar por sus derechos e insistir sobre la responsabilidad de la tenencia responsable de animales entre otras metas más.
