Un total de cinco personas resultaron lesionadas tras registrarse una riña en la medialuna de la comuna de Putaendo durante la madrugada del pasado día sábado, posterior al rodeo que se había efectuado. Un de ellas, resultó con heridas de gravedad producto de elementos cortopunzantes y se encuentra internada en el Hospital San Camilo de San Felipe, fuera de riesgo vital.
Al respecto, el comisario de Carabineros, mayor Jorge Guzmán, indicó que «efectivamente, el día sábado en horas de la madrugada, se suscitó una riña en el interior de la medialuna de Putaendo, en el contexto de una festividad que se estaba celebrando en dicha medialuna, posterior al rodeo que había sido autorizado por parte de la Ilustre Municipalidad».
En este contexto, Guzmán agregó que «habían resultado cinco personas lesionadas de distinta gravedad, por golpes de pies, puño y armas cortopunzantes, quedando el más grave internado, sin riesgo (vital) en el Hospital San Camilo».
Asimismo, el comisario de Carabineros añadió que «el contexto en el que se había dado esta riña es materia de investigación por parte del Ministerio Público, no obstante, Carabineros mantendrá patrullajes preventivos en este tipo de actividades con la finalidad de evitar algún mal mayor».
Por su parte, el alcalde de la comuna de Putaendo, Mauricio Quiroz, condenó este hecho de violencia; «en primer lugar, lamentar que una situación como esta se haya producido en el marco de una fiesta campestre, como son los rodeos, en el marco de lo que es la fiesta de noche, ya había terminado el rodeo, propiamente tal, se generaron algunas riñas que terminaron con cinco personas afectadas, tres de ellas con corte de arma blanca, una de ellas en la UCI, fue operada para poder sacarla del estado de gravedad, hoy está estable y fuera de riesgo» (vital).
Es así que el edil reflexionó y señaló que «sin embargo, no podemos dejar de lamentar esto y hacer mención a la necesidad de que podamos resolver los conflictos de otra forma; esto, no hay que echarle la culpa a alguien en particular, cuando una sociedad no tiene la capacidad de diálogo nos enfrentamos a este tipo de situaciones».
Respecto de las medidas que se han adoptado para evitar que estos hechos se vuelvan a producir, Quiroz sostuvo que «me he comunicado con el presidente de la Asociación de Rodeo de Putaendo, porque el rodeo tenemos que cuidarlo y defenderlo, pero también incorporar algunos temas de seguridad, para que esto, ojalá, no se repita, o los impactos sean menores».
«Lo fundamental es que esta dimensión que no está hoy día en las convocatorias que hacen las asociaciones o clubes de rodeo, se pueda incorporar, que haya una mirada de cómo se cuidan a las personas que acuden a este tipo de eventos», cerró el alcalde.
