El comité de agua potable rural de Quebrada de Herrera [APR], pondrá en funcionamiento dos nuevos estanques acumuladores de agua potable con una capacidad de 80.000 litros durante las próximas semanas mejorando considerablemente la capacidad de abastecimiento para sus clientes.
Jorge Herrera, presidente de dicho comité en entrevista con www.radioputaendoinforma.cl indicó que están muy contentos con esta iniciativa pues permitiría producir 80.000 litros de agua potabilizada y tener una mayor capacidad de almacenamiento, pues actualmente las tres copas de agua en altura almacenan 220.00 litros de agua potabilizada, lo que permitirá contar con 300 mil litros de agua para entregar en forma constante y segura a sus clientes. Herrera destacó el trabajo desarrollado por el comité para poner en operatividad dichos estanques y agradeció el apoyo de Mauricio Quiroz cuando en su rol de funcionario municipal propuso y sacó adelante este proyecto gestionando los dos estanques.
