González, dijo que no cabe duda que José Manuel Carter solo busca su beneficio propio y prueba de ello es ver como hoy el fundo que el administra en el sector del Fundo La Quebrada, es un vergel, [VER FOTOS INFERIORES] mientras que en El Llano y en otros sectores donde se han entubado los canales ni siquiera los animales tienen agua y hoy el mismo empresario sigue ampliando su plantación de nogales y almendros, en un afán increíble de seguir plantando para lo cual necesitará mas agua y esa es la razón de fondo de querer entubar el canal La Compañía, por lo que indicó que este proyecto es fraudulento y acusó a José Manuel Carter de ser “un cafiche del estado” que solo busca su propio beneficio y le miente a los regantes del sector de Sahondé al decirles que no les llega agua porque la gente de El Llano se la roba, prueba de ellos es que su inmensa plantación es lo que genera que a los vecinos de Sahondé no les esté llegando agua desde hace varios años.
González emplazó públicamente a José Manuel Carter a desistir del proyecto de entubamiento del canal La Compañía y también solicitó un pronunciamiento público a los consejeros regionales Rolando Stevenson e Iván Reyes de por qué el consejo regional constantemente está aprobando millonarios proyectos de riego para el empresario José Manuel Carter que no benefician a la comunidad y solo lo benefician a él mismo.
