Una preocupante situación se encentran viviendo a lo menos 12 pacientes de la comuna de Putaendo que deben ser dializados en la Avenida Maipú en la ciudad de San Felipe, donde el centro privado de salud les comunicó que desde el 1 de Octubre ya nos les proporcionará más el traslado que hasta la fecha les entregaba de forma gratuita según la institución privada de salud.
Mediante una carta fechada el 22 de Agosto del presente año, el centro de diálisis “Diaverum” que es contratado por el servicio de salud para realizar las diálisis en dicho centro privado, informo a los pacientes que “Por motivos de fuerza mayor el servicio de traslado gratuito que nuestro centro de diálisis Diaverum San Felipe le entrega, será suspendido de forma definitiva a partir del 01 de Octubre del 2.022”.
El estamento privado de salud agregó que la decisión fue informada al servicio de salud y Fonasa, para que ellos coordinen y asuman el traslado de pacientes hacia su centro de diálisis, pues según explica el centro de diálisis Diaverum San Felipe, el año 2.020 la subsecretaria de redes asistenciales que “Es responsabilidad del establecimiento de origen [En este caso el Hospital San Camilo] quien deriva al paciente al segundo prestador [En este caso centro de diálisis Diaverum San Felipe] trasladar al paciente y a sus acompañantes, cuando corresponda con calidad y oportunidad”.
La preocupación de familiares y de los mismos pacientes de la comuna de Putaendo radica en que hasta la fecha y luego de haber sido notificados por parte del centro de diálisis Diaverum San Felipe, no han tenido ninguna respuesta tanto de autoridades del Hospital San Camilo o del servicio de salud Aconcagua, lo que ha generado incertidumbre pues mucho de los pacientes necesitan imperiosamente ser trasladados por sus delicados estados de salud y por no contra con un transporte propio pues es por todos sabidos que un paciente que se dializa no puede viajar en locomoción colectiva.
