Este proyecto, postulado por el municipio al FNDR Circular 33 del Gobierno Regional de Valparaíso, se materializó el día de ayer, con la entrega en la Intendencia Regional de un camión aljibe marca Mercedes Benz con estanque Jurmar de 20.000 litros.
Una importante adquisición para la comuna, que tuvo un monto de inversión de 160 millones de pesos y permitirá duplicar el volumen de provisión de agua potable, mejorando la eficiencia y ampliando la cobertura a más familias que no cuentan con acceso al vital elemento.
Cada semana el Municipio de Putaendo realiza alrededor de 30 viajes, entregando 300 mil litros de agua a cerca de 150 familias. Del mismo modo, se realizan viajes por crisis hídrica para consumo humano y de animales.
Los camiones aljibes de la comuna, también son utilizados para emergencias de incendios y cuando fallan los sistemas de Agua Potable Rural (APR), de Los Patos y/o Casablanca.
