La decisión fue unánime por parte del Concejo Municipal de Putaendo, acuerdo tomado en la sesión ordinaria del pasado 15 de febrero.
La tarde de este miércoles, el alcalde Mauricio Quiroz, junto a los concejales Carlos Gallardo y Sebastián Caldera hicieron oficial el comodato por 30 años de la Medialuna Municipal al Club de Rodeo Laboral Putaendo Centro.
A nombre de la entidad, Servando Patricio Bravo Díaz, presidente del club de huasos, se mostró contento con este acuerdo, pues son bastantes las familias de Putaendo que se relacionan con la práctica del deporte campesino.
“Nosotros queremos que vuelva el rodeo al centro de Putaendo. Es un camino largo y sabemos que no va a salir en el momento. Debemos prepararnos y debemos darnos un tiempo, pero de aquí al próximo años queremos llegar a un clasificatorio si es posible o una final y que sigan realizando rodeos aquí. Así el pueblo también tiene más ingresos, porque en el rodeo llega mucha gente”, expresó Bravo.
Con apoyo municipal, el Club de Rodeo Laboral Putaendo Centro pretende realizar diferentes obras en la medialuna como la instalación de una cocina, además de mejoras en graderías y la ampliación del recinto ubicado en el Parque Guillermo Reyes.
