Ximena y Víctor se conocieron en su estadía en el Hospital Psiquiátrico Philippe Pinel de Putaendo en donde comenzó su romance que se ha extendido por más de 10 años y que se consagrará el próximo Jueves 17 de Noviembre, cuando la pareja se case en el registro civil de la ciudad de San Felipe.
Estos usuarios actualmente y desde hace dos años forman parte de uno de los dispositivos o hogares de acogida externos y que tienen domicilio en San Felipe, donde son ampliamente queridos por su sencillez y compromiso con ayudar a otros usuarios a reintegrarse en la sociedad y demostrar que su cuadro cínico no es impedimento para nos ser considerados por la sociedad y prueba de ello es que ambos son destacados trabajadores del supermercado Jumbo de San Felipe que en su constante política de integración los ha recibido al igual que a otros usuarios como trabajadores.
Los novios tienen la esperanza de adquirir su casa propia para continuar con su vida en pareja, pero desde ahora para vivir como marido y mujer, entregándonos un ejemplo de superación y de mucho amor puro, pues hoy podemos ser testigos de esta gran celebración que demuestra que el amor es algo transversal, que todos y todas podemos sentir y vivir, incluso las personas que constantemente son discriminadas por sus diferentes condiciones y por ignorancia.
Luis Palavecino , Administrador de los Hogares Protegidos de Putaendo y San Felipe, se mostró feliz y muy emocionado pues dijo es un acontecimiento histórico en el trabajo social y psiquiátrico y que Ximena y Víctor son muy queridos por todos pues ninguno de ellos y como en muchos casos no tienen red de apoyo de familiares y su familia son los funcionarios y funcionarias tanto en su momento del psiquiátrico de Putaendo y desde hace 8 años como parte de la comunidad en conjunto a otros compañeros en el dispositivo comunitario, donde sus compañeros también están felices por el paso tan importante que ambos darán el próximo Jueves. Palavecino dijo finalmente que lo de Ximena y Víctor es un ejemplo concreto y real de cómo los usuarios con patologías psiquiátricas se han ganado un espacio en la sociedad que ha mejorado la percepción y el trato hacia ellos, pero donde lamateblente aún hay algunos que los discriminan desde el desconocimiento y también desde la ignorancia.
El matrimonio civil de Ximena y Víctor se celebrará en dependencias del registro civil, el próximo Jueves 17 de Noviembre a las 10:30.
