Carabineros de la comuna de Putaendo concurrió al accidente de tránsito ocurrido en mayo del año pasado. Los funcionarios policiales descubrieron que el imputado conducía ebrio, portando además un arma de fuego calibre 22.
El Tribunal Oral en Lo Penal de San Felipe condenó a un sujeto identificado como Mauricio Antonio Villarroel Olivares, por los delitos de conducción de vehículo con 1,74 gramos de alcohol en la sangre y porte ilegal de arma de fuego, hecho que quedó al descubierto en la comuna de Putaendo.
Como se recordará, el 20 de mayo de 2018, a eso de las 16:20 horas, Carabineros concurrió hasta la calle Alejandrina Carvajal de Putaendo, donde constataron que un automóvil marca Chevrolet Corsa, placa patente VH – 88 33, habría chocado contra el cierre perimetral de la planta de la empresa Esval, ocasionando daños avaluados en $200.000.
Al costado del móvil se encontraba su conductor, identificado como el actual condenado, quien tras ser sometido a un alcotest arrojó 1,55 gramos de alcohol en su sangre.
Carabineros al realizar un registro entre las vestimentas de este sujeto, se descubrió que mantenía en su bolsillo un revólver calibre 22 cargado con seis municiones.
El conductor fue derivado hasta el Hospital San Antonio de esa comuna, para ser sometido a la alcoholemia de rigor, arrojando como resultado 1,74 gramos de alcohol en la sangre.
Tras el veredicto condenatorio, el caso fue derivado hasta el Tribunal Constitucional para que resuelva un requerimiento a petición de la Defensa del actual condenado.
