Vehiculo resultó con daños casi totales luego de volcar, cuando el conductor que lo guiaba perdió el control del mismo, producto de su estado de ebriedad.
La mañana de este domingo un volcamiento de un vehiculo menor, dejó como saldo a sus ocupantes con lesiones leves, y con daños casi totales en el vehiculo que los trasladaba, en la ruta que une Putaendo con Cabildo a la altura del kilómetro 61 sector lo Vicuña.
El accidente se registró según lo indicó Carabineros a eso de las 07;:15 hora de este Domingo, cuando el vehiculo patente TZ-12-30 se dirigia desde Putaendo en dirección al norte y al llegar al lugar antes indicado el conductor del vehiculo pierde el control del móvil traspasa el eje central de la calzada y continúa su trayecto por un desnivel e impacta con un grueso espino para terminar volcado.
Producto del fuerte impacto, los dos ocupantess del vehiculo habrian salido eyectados del movil, lo que no está claro en su totalidad ya que algunos testigos indican que lograron salir por sus propios medios, sin embargo a la llegada de los equipos de emergencias tanto el conductor como su acompañante estaban tendidos en la berma, y fueron atendidos por personal del Samu quien arribó con dos ambulancias junto al personal de rescate de Bomberos.
El Teniente de Carabineros Marcelo González, señaló a nuestro medio que la causa eventual del accidente sería que el conductor pudo haberse dormido al volante y a su estado de ebriedad , ya que luego de ser atendido en el hospital de Putaendo donde fue diagnosticado con lesiones leves, fue sometido a la prueba del Alcotest el que arrojó 1,12 grados de alcohol por litro de sangre, razón por la cual fue dentenido por conducir vehiculo motorisado en estado de ebriedad, siendo dejado horas más tarde en libertad por instrucción del fiscal de turno.
Carabineros identificó al conductor solo con las iniciales O.M.V.P de 57 años con domicilio en Putaendo y en cuanto al acompañante indicó que resultó con lesiones leves y que también se encontraba bajo los efectos del alcohol.
