Un hecho de suma gravedad y que deja en evidencia el clima de inseguridad que se vive en el país y en la comuna de Putaendo es el que afectó a una familia del sector de Las Coimas ubicada en un tramo de la ruta Putaendo con San Felipe la que literalmente acribillaron con más de 60 disparos efectuados por desconocidos.
Los antecedentes recopilados por Putaendoinforma donde Carabineros no quiso referirse a tan grave situación, habrían ocurrido hace unos meses atrás y dan cuenta que un grupo indeterminados de sujetos que en vehículos llegaron hasta la carretera Putaendo San Felipe en el sector de Las Coimas, donde dispararon al interior de un domicilio en más de 60 ocasiones, momento en el cual habían moradores en el mismo domicilio los que afortunadamente resultaron totalmente ilesos.
La situación fue de tal gravedad que según nuestros antecedentes debió concurrir personal especializado de Carabineros del OS-9, los que comenzaron las pericias especializadas que aún no tiene responsables pese al tiempo de transcurridos los hechos que podrían tener eventualmente vinculación con otros hechos delictuales ocurridos también tiempo atrás en la comuna de San Felipe, los que podrían estar ligados como un aventura ajuste de cuentas o amedrentamiento.
Este hecho se suma a otros más ocurridos en el mismo sector donde los vecinos se han logrado organizar a través de RRSS y instalado cámaras de seguridad pero la situación fue catalogada por vecinos y dirigentes como uno de los hechos más graves del ultimo tiempo en el sector de Las Coimas, cuyas causas no están aclaradas ni menos detenidos los autores de los disparos.
