La Brigada de Antinarcóticos y contra el Crimen Organizado de la PDI de Chillán incautó este lunes más de cuatro toneladas de droga y detuvo a 15 personas en la comuna de San Carlos, Región del Ñuble, donde aparecen involucrados y dentro de los detenidos, tres personas que registrarían domicilio en la comuna de Putaendo, específicamente en el sector El Manzano y en el centro de Putaendo.
Según informó la PDI, esta cantidad se traduce en 7.800 plantas, 860 kilos de cannabis procesada, además de casi un kilo de clorhidrato de cocaína y 154 gramos de tusi, en lo que es considerada la mayor incautación de drogas en el Ñuble.
Esta investigación logró también la desarticulación de una organización criminal integrada por 15 personas -que operaban desde San Carlos, con nexos en Longaví- a quienes se les incautaron armamentos, vehículos y dinero en efectivo. Sobre este procedimiento, el director general de la PDI, Hector Espinosa, indicó que “hay más de cuatro toneladas de droga, es droga que está procesada y que está en plantaciones, y ahí también otro tipo de armamento, de otro tipo de droga que se incautó”.
“Se han tenido 15 personas, es una organización criminal con que tenía roles importantes que cumplir, de vigilancia, de comunicaciones, de apoyo logístico y financista”, detalló este martes el funcionario policial.
Finalmente, aseguró que “el monto económico de esta operación significa sacar de circulación más o menos 25 mil millones de pesos“.
