La directora Biprovincial del SERVIU Patricia Boffa señaló de manera categórica que el terreno donde el comite habitacional “Futuro Mejor” pretende edificar sus futuras viviendas, sigue siendo la primera prioridad para el propietario del terreno venderlo al SERVIU, a propósito de la información que daba cuenta que la empresa minera Vizcachitas, tambien estaria interesada en comprar el mismo terreno.
Patricia Boffa agregó que apenas fue informada por los mismos integrantes del comité que eventualmente la minera estaba tras el terreno se comunicó en forma inmediata con el propietario del terreno agregando .”Efectivamente llamé al propietario del terreno, el es un caballero un hombre de palabra y me reiteró que tiene un enorme compromiso con la gente de Putaendo pues sabe la importancia de tener la casa propia para más de 150 familias por tal motivo me dejó nuevamente claro que la primera prioridad es nuestra (SERVIU) y que si por algún motivo nosotros como entidad desistieramos de la compra recién ahi vería otras posibilidades”
