El hecho a causado preocupación pues son más de 300 funcionarios que a diario tuvieron contacto en el comedor del recinto hospitalario indirectamente con la funcionaria contagiada y existe molestia por parte de los funcionarios en la forma y modo que tardíamente se enteraron
A raíz de la información entregada hoy en al mañana en el programa “Disfrutando un Café de radio Fm Vida” y ante las repercusiones que causó, la dirección del Hospital Psiquiátrico emitió el siguiente comunicado de prensa. que en horas de la noche del Miércoles se les hizo llegar a los funcionarios.
COMUNICADO HOSPITAL PSIQUIÁTRICO DR. PHILIPPE PINEL
El Hospital Psiquiatrico Dr Philippe Pinel, informa a la comunidad que en horas del día de ayer, fue notificado del contagio por Covid-19, de una Nutricionista, perteneciente a la empresa externa, que provee al establecimiento de almuerzo y cena al personal.
En este contexto, y entendiendo la preocupación de toda la comunidad, consideramos necesario, dar a conocer las principales medidas que se han adoptado.
El Hospital Psiquiátrico, entendiendo la complejidad de la situación, y adoptando los
resguardos necesarios, instruyó la toma de muestra de PCR a todo el personal de la empresa, que pudiera ser contacto estrecho, a fin de garantizar que no se encuentren contagiados.
En espera de sus resultados, la Empresa de alimentación trabajará a partir del día de hoy, con otros funcionarios/as para distribuir el almuerzo y la cena al personal del Hospital.
El día de hoy, el comité Covid HPPP, definirá y comunicará a toda la comunidad interna, como lo ha hecho permanentemente, las medidas específicas, que aplicarán a cada servicio y unidad, de
ahora en adelante.
Finalmente, el Hospital Psiquiátrico Dr. Philippe Pinel hace un especial llamado, no sólo a la comunidad hospitalaria, sino que a la comunidad en general, a extremar las medidas de prevención, y a poner especial énfasis en el auto cuidado, y en el cuidado de nuestros seres queridos.
