En tanto el Alcalde Mauricio Quiroz quien junto al equipo de emergencias del municipio se constituyó en el lugar confirmó que producto del incendio una vivienda resultó totalmente destruida una segunda vivienda con daños casi totales y la capilla también presenta daños de consideración y se registraron 6 personas damnificadas por lo que se dispuso de los primeros cursos de acción para ayudar a los afectados mientras evalúan levantar algunas mediaguas en los próximos días para los afectados.
Bomberos indicó que el departamento técnico de la institución realizó la correspondiente investigación para tratar de determinar la causa probable del inicio del incendio no entregando mayores antecedentes al respecto.
