El sindicato de Taxis Básico de Putaendo solicitó formalmente al Municipio de la comuna aumentar de 8 a 10 calzos los estacionamientos ubicados en la plaza de Armas.
Ramon Leiva presidente del sindicato de Taxis Básicos de Putaendo, dijo que la solicitud es efectiva y tiene por finalidad aumentar el servicio que entregan a la comunidad y también producto que hasta hace años atrás siempre mantuvieron los 10 estacionamientos en a plaza de Putaendo y que hoy son necesarios para los más de 25 vehículos que forman parte del sindicato de Taxis Básicos de Putaendo.
El dirigente agregó que hoy y como ha sido historiarte los Taxistas prestan un servicio muy importante a la comunidad sobre todo a los vecinos de los sectores rurales y que también entienden y comprenden que existen pocos lugares donde estacionar en el centro de Putaendo y que debe ser regulado, pero que en su caso, aunque se trate de poco para muchos, los Taxistas pagan por estacionar en la plaza de Putaendo mientras que hay otras personas que tienen sus vehículos todo el día y todos los días estacionados no pagan , por lo que esperan la solicitud presentada pueda prosperar.
En el ultimo concejo municipal el Alcalde Mauricio Quiroz dio cuenta a los Concejales de la solitud planteada por el gremio de los taxistas, donde explicó que no se ha logrado encontrar algún documento o decreto que valide la tesis que efectivamente años atrás tenían 10 calzos para estacionamiento , pero que la situación ha cambiado radicalmente en los últimos años y que para nadie es un misterio que hoy existe un colapso para estacionar en el centro y en especial en la plaza de la comuna, por lo que solicitó un estudio técnico al departamento de tránsito antes de someter el tema al debate en el ceno del concejo municipal.
