Desde hace 10 años que en Putaendo no se invertían recursos tan significativos, para incorporar nuevas zonas de monitoreo con tecnología de última generación. En esta oportunidad se instalarán 8 nuevas cámaras de televigilancia tipo DOMO, de última generación, Full HD, con postes de acero galvanizado y con sistemas de trasmisión directa, hacia la central de cámaras de televigilancia que se ubica en la Tenencia de Carabineros de Putaendo.
El proyecto fue adjudicado, a través de un proceso de licitación pública a la empresa TELECAST tiene un plazo de ejecución de 60 días. “Esta cuantiosa inversión, que va a contribuir a tener una comuna más segura, fue gracias al aporte de recursos provenientes de la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito, recurso que se suman a los que fueron asignados para adquirir la camioneta de patrullaje preventivo y la instalación del primer pórtico de cámaras de televigilancia, proyecto este último, en proceso de licitación púbica”, indicó el alcalde Quiroz.
