Estamos regulando las presiones en diversos sectores, realizando acuartelamientos para la distribución de agua potable, reforzando la operación de grifos existentes y aumentando la capacidad de porteo, lo que optimiza el servicio para miles de habitantes, además de brindar una mejor calidad de vida y apoyar al crecimiento y desarrollo de Rinconada”, señaló el subgerente zonal de Esval, Gastón Placencio.
El ejecutivo detalló que “este proyecto consideró el mejoramiento de 1.740 metros de redes de agua potable en el tramo del estanque elevado Rinconada y la calle Martín Cruz, además de la renovación de otros 1.164 metros en calle Gálvez. En total, estamos optimizando cerca de 3 kilómetros de la red, con una inversión que bordea los $550 millones”.
Corte programado nocturno
Para la conexión de estas redes, Esval programó un corte de agua potable en Rinconada para la noche de este jueves 27 de Agosto , desde las 21:00 horas, hasta las 5 de la mañana del viernes 28. La suspensión del suministro abarcará a la totalidad de la comuna, con excepción del sector Los Placeres.
Placencio explicó que el corte fue coordinado con las autoridades y es fundamental para la puesta en operación del nuevo sistema, agregando que, gracias a que las condiciones técnicas lo permiten, se programó en horario nocturno para causar el menor impacto en la comunidad.
