Además de fomentar la actividad física y la estimulación cognitiva, se pretende a futuro generar la primera liga de bocha de personas mayores de Putaendo.
La actividad fue organizada en conjunto por el Programa Más Adultos Mayores Autovalentes del Cesfam Valle de Los Libertadores y el mismo Centro de Apoyo a la Escuela Especial.
Se espera también replicar este tipo de iniciativas que fomentan la inclusión y la sana convivencia intergeneracional.
Cabe mencionar que el Centro de Apoyo a la Educación Especial tiene un destacado equipo de bocha que compite con más escuelas a nivel provincial.
