Por instrucciones del fiscal de turno al lugar acudió personal especializado de la Brigada de Homicidios de la policía de investigaciones de Los Andes, quienes examinaron el cuerpo y el sitio del suceso y como ya se señaló descartaron la intervención de terceras personas y atribuyeron el deceso a una muerte natural producida por un infarto al miocardio.
El servicio médico legal [SML] de todas formas y por instrucción del fiscal de turno levantó el cadáver del lugar para la autopsia de rigor, esperando que el cuerpo pueda ser entregado a sus familiares durante la jornada de este dia Lunes.
