El irresponsable conductor ya cuenta con antecedentes por conducir vehículos motorizados en estado ebriedad y no contaba con licencia de conducir.

La tarde del Martes recién pasado un conductor que guiaba una camioneta Chevrolet por la ruta que comunica San Felipe con Putaendo estuvo a punto de ocasionar un grave accidente de tránsito, producto de su evidente estado de ebriedad hasta que finalmente fue detenido por personal de Carabineros de la comuna de Putaendo.
El Teniente de Carabineros Marcelo González indicó que el irresponsable conductor estuvo a punto de colisionar frontalmente un vehículo cuando circulaba en dirección a Putaendo a eso de las 16:15 horas del Martes recién pasado luego de sobrepasar el eje central de la calzada, donde el oficial de guardia recibió varios llamados telefónicos de automovilistas que daban cuenta cómo la camioneta zigzagueaba peligrosamente en la ruta razón por la cual y en base a la información entregada por vecinos se pudo dar alcance al vehículo en calle Brasil, donde el personal policial logró detener al conductor el cual se encontraba en evidentes estado de ebriedad lo que fue ratificado por el personal aprehensor ya que el fuerte aliento alcohólico, la inestabilidad para sostenerse de pie y otros factores ratificaron que estaba en total estado de ebriedad.
El conductor identificado como Máximo Arancibia, fue detenido bajo los cargos de conduccion de vehiculo motorizado en estado de ebriedad y por no contar con licencia de conducir ademas de no tener la documentación del vehículo en regla. El conductor quien ya tiene antecedentes por el mismo hecho (Conduccion en estado de ebriedad) entre ellas ya una condena efectiva, fue dejado en libertad horas después de su detención por instrucción del fiscal de turno donde Carabineros confirmó que producto de la pandemia por el Covid-19, no fue posible tomar el Alcotest y solo se realizó la alcoholemia de rigor en el Hospital de Putaendo.
