Es así, que los hechos ocurrieron a eso de las 01:30 horas aproximadamente de la madrugada de este Domingo en el lugar antes indicado, cuando un sujeto mayor de edad con antecedentes penales y el cual había salido de la cárcel hace poco más de un mes, manipulaba un armamento [Pistola o Revolver] el cual había exhibido ya en varias ocasiones a otras personas y donde accidentalmente el arma se habría disparado impactado el proyectil en el abdomen del menor que jugaba en las afueras del casino de la medialuna, mientras que otras versiones de testigos indican que el arma fue disparada con la intención de herir a otro hombre por una discusión y donde el impacto balístico dio en el menor de edad, versiones que como dijimos fueron recogidas en el trabajo realizado por nuestro medio.
El menor herido fue trasladado por familiares en un vehículo particular hasta el servicio de urgencias del Hospital San Antonio de Putaendo y producto de sus lesiones trasladado por el Samu hasta el Hospital San Camilo de San Felipe, donde debido ser sometido a una larga intervención quirúrgica, encontrándose afortunadamente fuera de riesgo vital, e internado en una unidad especializada de dicho recinto de salud.
En tanto el autor del disparo huyó del lugar e intentó ocultarse en varios lugares hasta que horas después fue detenido por Carabineros confirmaron testigos.
